- Preparation
Always pre-press the garment for 5–8 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
Use a centering tool or the "three-finger rule" from the collar for placement.
- Pressing
Unlike vinyl, DTF requires medium-to-heavy pressure (around 60 PSI) to drive the adhesive into the fibers.
Standard settings are usually 300°F–325°F (150°C–165°C) for 12–15 seconds, but always test a small corner if you're switching materials. - Peeling
Peel smoothly in one continuous motion at a low angle .
Press the design a second time for 5 seconds with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper. This "sets" the print and removes the excess shine. - Care & Washing
Always wash the garment inside out in cold water.
Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry. High heat in the dryer is the #1 cause of issues.
